Veterans Resources

As a U. S. Army veteran and long-term caregiver, I experienced firsthand many challenges that limit access to educational benefits, particularly for veterans who balance caregiving responsibilities alongside their service and civilian transitions.
Before 2019, most traditional in-person academic programs did not align with the realities of family caregiving, making consistent academic progress a challenge for many, including myself.

The expansion of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic shifted this landscape and opened new pathways to education for working caregivers and veterans. Through these expanded opportunities, I completed 73 percent of my Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Merchandising at Fresno State and am now completing my Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology fully online at California State University, Fullerton.

This resource page was created to connect veterans, veteran caregivers, and their supporters with programs and tools that support educational progress, leadership development, and long-term career advancement. These resources reflect my ongoing commitment to building systems that work better for all veterans. These systems recognize caregiving responsibilities as leadership experience and focus on removing unnecessary obstacles to advancement.
